Cebu Pacific is in talks with Singapore Airlines for their 4 Boeing 777-212 aircraft slated for retirement this year for new Airbus A330 aircraft are joining the SQ fleet. Cebu hopes to introduce the B777 aircrafts effective winter schedule 2009. There are reports that they want to operate it on new routes to Australia, Japan and the Middle East. The later is a tough route with a lot of competition from Gulf carriers. Let’s hope that 5J will do well.
